In 2023 NYPCC opened a state-of-the-art expansion to the Bronx Child and Family Mental Health Center on Courtlandt Avenue. This new building will allow NYPCC to further meet the needs of the community.
NYPCC hosted the first Anti-Bully Coalition Fair in Brooklyn, NY. The Anti-Bullying Coalition is a collective effort that seeks to create safe havens for children across New York City.
NYPCC has been certified twice by Mental Health America as a Platinum Bell Seal organization, the highest certification possible. NYPCC is proud of our ongoing commitment to employee mental health and well-being.
(NYPCC) worked in partnership with the Youth Advocacy Corps (YAC) to address the pandemic-related mental health (MH) epidemic among youth.
NYPCC Academy launches the first Leadership in Training program. LIT is a seven-week training program led by experienced mentors who help NYPCC staff grow and develop their professional skills.
NYPCC begins offering no-cost CE Credentials through virtual workshops aimed at NYC area School Social Workers. Topics include child and adolescent mental health awareness and support.
Aimed at low-income and at-risk patients struggling with mental health issues, in order to reduce 911 calls and emergency room visits, and expedite post-hospital discharge to free up space in New York City’s hospital system.
