F/T and P/T Bilingual Therapists

Full- and part-time therapists needed in our community-based child and family mental health centers located in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Clinics open 7 days/almost 100 hours a week, so flexible scheduling may be available.

Responsibilities include providing verbal therapy, writing progress notes and treatment plans, plus case management and/or crisis intervention.

MSW, LMSW, LCSW, Masters in Psychology or Mental Health Counseling, or holder of Permit (or Permit eligible) required. Supervision provided, so your hours will count toward licensure - new graduates encouraged to apply. FLUENCY IN SPANISH REQUIRED. Position must utilize electronic health record, which will be taught, but basic computer skills will be helpful.

F/T and P/T Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Seeking full- and part-time candidates, with evening and weekend hours available, so flexible scheduling may be available.

As a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, and under the supervision of a psychiatrist (if required), the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced clinical psychiatric nursing care, including:

  1. Performing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management of clients;
  2. Prescribing or recommending medication or other forms of treatment or related therapeutic procedures;
  3. Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess clients' clinical problems and health care needs;
  4. Ordering laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures;
  5. Referring clients to specialized health resources for treatment;
  6. Performing crisis intervention; and
  7. Communicating with health care professionals, families, and staff members to ensure ongoing quality delivery of health services
Minimum Education and Experience requirements:
  1. Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner program;
  2. Currently licensed in New York State as a psychiatric nurse practitioner; and
  3. Currently certified with the DEA to prescribe medication.
Spanish speaking a plus, but not required. Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
